Volleyball has been a big part of my life since I first started playing 10 yrs ago. It has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people and also travel all around the country. One thing I would love most is an opportunity to get a great education as well as continue to play the sport I love. I know that playing collegiate volleyball will be a daunting task but I feel ready for it. I want to take on a new challenge, and I know in the end it'll be well worth it.
On the court I try and lead by example. I give 110% each and every time I step on the court. I feel I owe it to my teammates and coaches to leave it all on the court every time. I take volleyball very seriously and I strive to be the best player and teammate I can be. I'll do whatever it takes for my team. I can and will play any position necessary to help make my team better. I respect all my coaches and teammates throughout the years.
I also work very hard in the classroom. I worked really hard to maintain my 4.1 GPA during my first two years of high school. It's difficult at times to juggle academics and athletics but I always try my best to find a way. I know that I need to stay on top of my grades in order to get into a good college. Volleyball is just another avenue for me but my academics have to come first.
I want to attend a college that is both academically and athletically strong. I look forward to the challenge and would love to play at the highest level I can. I know the friends and memories I make will last a lifetime.
I want to thank my family for supporting me throughout my life. Nothing would've happened if it wasn't for them. I hope the endless practices, training, tournaments, clinics, combines, travel and fundraising to name a few pay off in the end.
Thank you!
