Personal Statement

When I first started playing volleyball, I wasn’t very good, but I knew that I loved the game. It wasn’t until my Freshmen year of high school that I really started to improve. Fortunately, I had a coach that helped me improve enough to play my first club season.

I have had good seasons and bad seasons. After every season, no matter if it was good or bad, I came out loving the game even more. I learned that I could handle sitting the bench, but it just made me want to work harder so that I could play every chance I got. I learned that I could overcome obstacles in my bad seasons. In my good seasons I learned that I could lead on the court, I could be an important player on the court, and most importantly I gained the desire to always work hard for my love of the game and to be the best player I can be.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
