Never giving up is key. I started my love for volleyball in the sixth grade. Going into my seventh grade volleyball season I wanted to play more volleyball than what my school was offering, and learn more about the sport so I took matters into my own hands. I joined my first club team. I have been playing club actively since my seventh grade season. I have a serious passion for this sport since such a young age, and I want nothing more than to play throughout my college career. You just can't expect something to fall into your hands, you have to earn it. My dream is to play D1 college volleyball, and I'm taking every possible option I can to get myself where I need to be. On the court, you can always hear me talking whether it's where the ball is going, who's open, I'm always looking and strategically playing. Even if we start to lose, or players get down, I always try to help my teammates push through and pull out a win, or even a positive attitude. You CANNOT give up. I am a three sport school athlete, but I also play fall soccer in my free time. I'm constantly staying in shape to help myself become the best volleyball player I can be. My academics have always been a priority. Since I was younger I have always wanted to go to college, and I knew I couldn't get there without staying in the best academic shape. I'm very passionate about keeping good grades and trying my hardest in everything I do, on and off the court, even if it's not my strongest section. I try to stay as involved with academics as so my volleyball career as much as I can, it's important to strive in both for me. As this being my freshman year, I played and started Freshman games, Fresh/soph games, and Varsity games. I have had my fair share of just about every position, and play every position if needed, but my strong suit is right side and middle. Freshman games I would set, Hit right side and sometimes pass back row. Fresh/soph games I passed back row, and hit middle or right side. Varsity, I passed either right or left side, sometimes middle, and hit right side as well. I value respect for my teammates, peers and coaches. Volleyball is my absolute passion, and no other sport will ever come before it.
