I have been playing volleyball since I was 10 years old. I fell in love with the sport in middle school when our team made a run to the state championship and finished runner-up. My coach during that time had college experience playing at Purdue and she showed me and my teammates what was possible. From that moment forward, I have inspired to play at the at the collegiate level.
I am currently a sophomore at Morris Community High School where I completed my first varsity season as the starting libero. We won 20 games and I was recognized as the Most Improved player at the end of the season. In addition to the personal success I experienced, I feel I have grown from a leadership and understanding perspective of what it takes to improve each day. I also compete at the AAU club level for MVP60450 which gives me the opportunity to play with other teammates, coaches, and compete against higher levels of competition.
At Morris High School, I also am a member of the Varsity softball and basketball teams since my freshman year. This highlights my time management, hard work, and overall athletic ability. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA.
I feel I would be a great addition to a college team and I am committed to working hard and making a difference in the classroom and on the volleyball court. I am open to all options and want to find the right match to make my dream a reality.
