I have been playing volleyball since I was 9, and it has shaped who I am as a person, and friend, and a competitor. I love being out on the court and love the challenge that being a setter provides. My job is to make the right decisions to help my teammates be successful.
One thing that never changes on the court is my attitude. Ive learned not to get too down as there is another play right around the corner and another chance to help my team succeed.
Outside of volleyball, I volunteer at my church where I teach 3 year olds in Sunday school. I also volunteer for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event every year with my friends and family.
I am looking for a college where I can study nursing as well as being a successful scholar athlete.
