Adna Zenkovic '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches! My name is Adna Zenkovic and i’ve been playing volleyball since 6th grade. My journey with volleyball has been long but worth it. I started off as just a sub to serve and now every year for the past 4 years i have been a starter. My skills on the court are not limited. I switched off being setter and attacker in the front row depending how the game went. Im capable of getting used to my surroundings (positions) under pressure. My ability on the court is that I am able to read body language and scan the court during plays. I have been captain for my junior and senior year of volleyball and throughout highschool i have been on the varsity team. I am very cooperative and dedicated to the game. I’ve observed past games to help my team play better strategically and this year we won third in the championships. My energy on the court uplifts everyone. I don’t believe my team should play with emotions but instead with keeping their head in the game. Ladies who bring eachother down will only lead us to defeat. I believe the connection and trust between teammates matters and plays a role in how we play.  My chemistry with players depends on other people. I get along with others very easily and i’m not afraid to call out girls for their mistakes. I want to be the one to help them do better as a team player.
