Playing volleyball in college is a dream that I work hard for every single day. I have always loved sports, and while I played competitive lacrosse, and swam competitively, volleyball grabbed my heart early on in 5th grade. Just being able to play the sport means so much to me.
I believe my game strategy, court awareness, leadership, and speed make me a great setter. I am passionate about making strategic plays and I am always striving to find ways to improve. I love to form strong connections with my teammates on and off the court helping me know when to set them and how they like their sets so they can strive and play their best. I am a teachable and versatile player and am able to play all-around as I can hit, serve, and play defense as well.
I understand the hard work and dedication it requires to be a college athlete and I have always been able to balance sports, academics, and family based on my overall drive to succeed. I take school just as seriously as I do volleyball and I am thankful for the lessons I have learned playing team sports as I believe they have also made me a strong student. I know an opportunity like this would change my life and I couldn't be more excited to start this next chapter.
