Reagan Futa '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Regan Futa and I have been playing sports since I was 6 years old.  I started with gymnastics and made my way to enjoy volleyball, basketball, and golf.  Around the age of 10, I found my love for volleyball.  I continued to play basketball, golf, and volleyball but knew my love for volleyball was growing much greater than any other sport I was competing in.  At 11, I decided to dedicate myself to the game of volleyball, and this is when competing in club/travel volleyball started.  

I have a passion for the game of volleyball and aspire to play in college, at the highest level possible.  With my coachable attitude, the athleticism I was able to gain from an early age, and my goal-oriented personality, I have worked to ensure I play at the highest level.   With the combination of practice, strength training, speed training, and 1:1 positional work I have been able to achieve this goal.  I am excited to start the 2024 club season, playing on the 14-1 Munciana Chipmunks. 

Volleyball has given me so much and has been able to make me accountable on and off the court.  With the work ethic that has grown within me, I have been able to succeed on the court, continue to excel in the classroom, and continue to volunteer - to give back.  I take pride in being an A/B student, taking honor roll classes, as well as keeping my heart close to God, leaning on my faith, and making a difference in the community.    

I look forward to driving my leadership skills, continuing on my journey, and understanding my future possibilities.  I am eager to hear from college coaches to help me find the best fit possible to succeed in my college years.
