Personal Statement

I am excited to introduce myself as an outside/right side (Pin) hitter in the graduating class of 2025. Volleyball has been a big part of my life since I first stepped onto the court. Over the years, I have developed a love for the game that brings excitement each time I get an opportunity to play whether it be in practice or game time.  I have played both roles as an outside and right-side hitter.   As a pin hitter, especially the outside position, I get to show my versatility. I love the challenge of being able to adjust according to the opposing team.  I have had the opportunity to play for Club Teams, AAU Teams, and School Teams and these experiences have taught me it’s more than just the game; it's about the team. I promise to bring my positivity, strong work ethic, and leadership to every practice and match. But I know I will be going professional in something other than volleyball and for me today that is nursing.  I am interested in the medical field and the compassion that nursing requires. I know balancing volleyball and a nursing program will be difficult at times, but I am up for the challenge of being the best athlete and nursing student I can be.  Thank you for checking out my bio and showcase videos.
