Kersti Nelson '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kersti Nelson, and I am a 5'6 Setter/Right Side Hitter. I have been playing volleyball since 5th grade, and my love and knowledge for the game has continued to grow ever since. I have played all positions throughout my volleyball career. I was an outside hitter in Junior High, starting High School Libero my freshmen year, and a varsity setter/ right side hitter ever since.  

Both my Sophomore and Junior years I was nominated with the First Team All League award. I have also accepted my coach's "Most Inspirational Player" award, voted on by my team members. I consider sports of high importance in my life, but academics will always come first. I am ranked 1st in my class, holding a 4.0 GPA throughout all my years of high school. 

I am looking forward to continuing my volleyball and academic career in college with all I have to offer.
