“See me for my abilities not for my stature.”
I’m driven to succeed and to prove that size does not matter. Being physically smaller has helped me learn to fight for everything and understand that nothing is given. I am motivated and focused to become better, not only in volleyball but in every aspect of my life. This includes academics and community work. I want to be a good role model for my younger sister, a great daughter, a great friend, and a great student.
In my efforts to be a better player, I've committed during my offseason to attending as many skills training, volleyball camps, and open gyms that are available in my area. In addition, I am attending weights, strength and conditioning all year round.
I am a good fit for any team because I am coachable, respectful, committed to my team, focused and diligent on building my skillsets, and willing to try new things.
My goals and aspirations is to attend college and be a student athlete who excels in my academics and volleyball. There is nothing better than being in an environment where I can constantly learn and grow. College volleyball is the perfect place for this. College volleyball will provide me the opportunity to grow as a person and player by learning and communicating daily with my coaches, teammates, and professors. In return I will be an athlete who will be supportive of my teammates and coaches and will always be ready to attend practices and classes with understanding that each day is an opportunity for me to improve my skills.
