Kalie Whitson '24 Recruiting Profile

Hey! My name is Kalie Whitson. I have been playing Volleyball for 6 years and have loved it from the day I started. I am starting my freshman year at Maize South High School and excited to try out for the team. Both of my middle school seasons in 7^th and 8^th grade, we went undefeated and won 1^st in our league tournament. I played middle hitter/blocker both years. In my 4 years of playing club, I have played all positions on the front row, but I found my best spot was middle. Most importantly, volleyball has taught me to talk and communicate with others such as my teammates and coaches. I have learned that being a coachable player and being able to listen and learn has benefited me and made me the player I am today.

I also can’t wait for this year’s club season; I am on the Air Capital Aces 15-1s and excited to meet new people and build up new friendships and have a great season with a great team.
