Hello, I am Allie Vonnahme, a junior at Murray High School in Murray, KY. I have played volleyball since I was in the 6th grade and have enjoyed playing so much that I hope to be able to extend my volleyball court time into my college years. I have also played basketball and participated in track and field for my school since the 6th grade. All 3 sports complement each other well. For example, I wouldn't have the speed and endurance I have on the volleyball court without my experience in running on the track team. I wouldn't be as strong on the volleyball court if I didn't throw discus and shot put on the track and field team either. Not only am I great at sports, but I am also a great student. I am currently ranked 8th in my class based on my 4.2 GPA. I also have a love for my youth group at church and have already participated in 2 mission trips to Chicago and plan to go on a 3rd mission trip to Belize this coming summer. I have had a summer job since the summer after my 7th grade school year. I don't mind working hard!
