Throughout the next four years, I hope to grow as a person and a player. My academic plans include studying accounting and/or finance with a long term goal of becoming a CPA. As for volleyball, I will strive to be a asset to my team, approaching each day with a positive attitude that we can always get better. I have played travel volleyball and softball since I was ten years old, and I was always the smallest player on every team. Because of this, I realized that hard work and determination make up for my lack of height and led to me becoming a part of both varsity teams. During my junior year of high school volleyball, my team competed in the Louisiana State Championship, but we lost in the Quarter Finals. After this loss, I decided to devote my time to volleyball and concentrate on bettering my game. I want to be a role model for my teammates, both on and off the court.
