Volleyball has changed my life completely. It has taught me patience,endurance,belief-in not only myself, but others, and above everything-strength. It has taught me a type of strength you cannot obtain by reading a book or watching it. You have to live it. Volleyball is not just a game for me, it's a part of me.
On the court I'm always playing my heart out, reaching for success not only for myself, but for my team. When I'm off the court you'll find me laying on my couch watching the game- seeing how the players move, trying to figure out what their thinking, and trying to see the game how they see it. I mean the key to success isn't how you see the game, but knowing how others see it and capitalizing on it.
The court is home for me, its my safe place. I know that when I slip on my knee pads, lace up my shoes, and step on to that court that everything else with fade away. All that matters is me and the ball.
