Going from being almost cut from the team freshman year I knew I wanted to play again the next year, I trained hard and became the starting blocker for my team. I want to play at the highest level possible and will do whatever it takes to get there. When people doubt that I can reach my goals it just makes me work harder than anyone else to make myself stand above the rest. I am willing to work hard and am getting up at 5 am to work out if thats what needs to be done.
I really want to play volleyball in college, but that college also has to have a great environmental program. I love being outside, which is one of the reasons I chose to attend a vocational school, the amount of time I spend in my environmental shop program is equally as important as the time I spend in my academic classes and doing sports.
