A goal I have always had growing up around the sport of volleyball is to play for college and get recruited for a team, not only for just my skill but my attitude and academics. I am always trying to get better at volleyball, putting in as much time as I possibly can, while also trying to work on my leadership skills to try to be a better captain for the team.
I strive to be a coachable player, listening to every little detail a coach says to correct any mistakes I make so I won’t repeat them. I’m successful at balancing my schoolwork as well as making sure I get all the practice time I should in season and off. One thing that has a huge impact on me and drives me to make it far in the sport, is that I have been around volleyball for over 6 years now and every single time I step foot on the court, all my worries go away, and I can just focus on playing and improving in the sport I love.
