Where do I get my drive and passion? My grandfather played for the Green Bay Packers (he’s in the Packer Hall of Fame) from the mid 60’s to the mid 70’s. He was a six-time All Pro, five-time Pro Bowl, 2× NFL Champion,
2× Super Bowl champion (I, II) and Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. He was physically and mentally strong. Winning was a must and giving 110% was expected. He raised my dad and his two brothers with the same mentality and my dad has raised me the same. I lift weights three times a week and give 110% in my athletics and my academics. My grandpa always used to tell me “Run to win” which is from a bible verse “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run [their very best to win], but only one receives the prize? Run [your race] in such a way that you may seize the prize and make it yours!”. Every time I step on the court I Run to Win...every ounce of me wants the win, every time and I never let up. Keeping physically and mentally strong is important to me- my team is important to me - volleyball is my passion!
