holly netzley '22 Recruiting Profile

Leadership, Passion, and Academic focus,  if these are qualities you look for in your student athlete then I am your swimmer.   My name is Holland Netzley .....,and I love swimming.  

I started swimming when I was 8 years old at Southwest Swim Club.   I couldn’t wait to get to practice and get in the water, and still today that feeling has never left me.  

As an aspiring college athlete, I am driven to excel both athletically and academically.   Some details about me:
I currently have a 3.6 gpa.
My PR in the 100 free is 1:00
My PR in the 50 free is :27
My PR in the 200 free is 2:12

I am the captain of my swim team  for the 2020 school year and active in other activities like 4-H, Music, Speech (Category Captain), Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Golf.  Also, I actually love my AP History classes.   I’m including this because it is like an extra activity for me.   I love to study these subjects!   I hope to be an attorney in the future.   I think the perseverance and grit that I learned through swim will help me get there.
