I fell in love with the game of volleyball when I was given the opportunity to play Junior Olympic Volleyball back in the 4th grade. Over the years, I have come to love and appreciate the game even more! I take pride in my coaches telling me that I am a coachable and dependable athlete on their team. I know that they are there to help me grow and learn as an athlete so that I can continue to improve. In knowing this, it motivates me to be the best I can be for my team. Hard work and dedication is what I not only apply to the sport, but it’s also what I apply to my academics as well! I truly envision my college years to be a personal growth in both of these areas. My goal is to explore an architect/business management major that will position me well for a career after college. On the court, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team just as I strive to do today. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college volleyball career, I will strive to be an asset to the team. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the court, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
