My name is Sussa Sarante, and I am from the Dominican Republic. Presently, I am studying at The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey on scholarship. When I came to the United States on a student visa, I elected to reclassify my grade and repeat my second year (sophomore year) to better acclimate to the United States education system and improve my English. Therefore, I will graduate high school in 2026. Maintaining good grades while playing is crucial to me. I am seeking a school where I can excel both on the court and in the classroom. I desire to major in computer sciences or programming.
Athletically, I am a fierce competitor and an aggressive defender. Growing up in the DR, I competed at a very high level, as volleyball is one of my country's primary sports. I've played multiple positions, but libero is my true calling. I have a steady platform for serve receive, track and read well, and play hard defense. Known for my leadership, creativity, and humility, I am a loud, supportive, and highly competitive individual on and off the court.
