I've always had the dream to compete in the college level for this sport. I am a determined student athlete who'll make sure to correct my mistakes, support others, and most importantly keep my grades up. What would make me a good candidate for your team is know that you can count of me, you can count on me to be 45 mins early, you can count on me to lift the team, and you can count on me to keep my academics up. I've always been a little different from others, I've always had that player mentality off/ on the court. Im very competitive when it comes to things, even chess! I like to win and I like to be the loudest in the room. I enjoy making others laugh, and ill always be there for someone. I never let my friends down, I always drop what I'm doing and support them. You'll always see me putting a smile on someones face, even the faculty! Ive been a smart kid since I was in 2nd grade. They asked me to jump ahead two grade levels but my mom wanted to make sure I got the right teaching in each grade. Ive had 4 honor math classes, 2 honor and 2 AP English classes, 1 honor and 3 AP history class, 2 honor science classes and 2 AP science classes. Ive taken dual credit since my sophomore year, along with science olympiad. Ive always had the leadership role for my school. I was Vice President my freshman year and President for my senior year. I want people to know it's okay to voice your opinion even when you're shy, and know that there's someone they can look up to. I enjoy the freshman being able to talk to me freely and not be nervous. I also participated in GEAR UP and Colorado University Boulder Upward Bound summer program. Overall, I'm an accountable student athlete who has a big heart for everyone.
