Gabriella Vasquez '24 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been playing volleyball for 7 years. I am passionate about the commitment, the hard work, and the camaraderie of playing as part of a team. I am a 5’3 libero and defensive specialist. As a freshman, I started playing on the Hendrick Hudson High School Varsity team and learned different skills that helped me better understand the game. I also play for the national team at Downstate Juniors Volleyball Club all year round.

I pride myself on managing my academic studies and athletic commitments as I work hard to maintain my 3.4 GPA. I'm looking to attend a university on the East Coast to allow me to stay close to my family but far enough from New York. I am passionate about protecting immigrants and people from many different walks of life. I seek to pursue a law degree as well as a career in Immigration Law later on. I would also like to play for the volleyball program where I can utilize the skills I have acquired and be part of a great team.
