Making Junior Varsity my freshman year at Mount Notre Dame has impacted my volleyball career immensely. This taught me not only how to get comfortable with being uncomfortable in certain situations, but also how to be confident when competing against upper-classmen. I learned how to be coachable in this environment, and adjust to different types of coaching styles with an open mind. Coming into this freshman year taught me the importance of a strong team chemistry and a persistent work ethic. Learning these from a formative age will allow me to incorporate these passionate ideas with each team I play on.

I'm looking for a college that aligns with both my academic and athletic goals, and has an atmosphere that suits me. I hope to go into the engineering field in college. I know it can be a rigorous course, but I'm willing to take on the challenge in order to become successful. I set goals for myself and work hard to achieve them, but I am also full of quick-witted humor.  My teammates and friends on and off the court listen to my leadership and advice so that we can respond to any hurdle that comes our way.  I'm passionate about what I do and am viewed as someone who cares and works hard for the group.
