I found interest in volleyball in sixth grade. Since then I have been wanting to improve my skills in this sport. When I got into high school I heard more girls talking about how much fun they were having in their club season, at that time I have never heard of club volleyball. It was certainly a challenge because I saw my teammate improve each year, and I stayed at the same level for multiple years. Now I have found the dedication to spend more time in my sport all year round.
Off the court I am helping my community. Since I have the ability to speak Spanish, I have been on a missions trip to Peru (July 29-August 6 2017); Mexico (March 18-25 2018). I have been volunteering at Church on the Move for 5 years now since I was eleven years old to now; sixteen years old. I have volunteered for Love Your Neighbor’s Love Day (July 15 2016-2017).
My academics are very important to me. I have kept a 4.0 GPA in my high school career. I work very diligently in everything I do. Now that I am on a club team, I will improve my skills and become a better teammate and better player.
