When I'm on the court, it isn't all about me. Volleyball is a team sport, and I am all about being a team player, and picking others up when they are down. To me, being a good teammate is just as important as being a good player. Another thing that is important to me is work ethic. I have worked very hard to be the best volleyball player that I can be. I devote time every week doing things such as speed and agility training, weight training, and personal coaching/training. In addition to my volleyball training, I also have a rigorous academic schedule, juggling several AP and honors classes, and maintaining a 3.86 GPA. Having this kind of busy schedule will definitely prepare me for being a college student/athlete.
When looking for a school, I want one that will offer me a competitive volleyball program, as well as an academic program that will prepare me for my future career. I don't have a strong preference to a specific type of campus or setting, however I would like to remain somewhere near the East Coast.
