I have been playing volleyball for 12 years, since I was 4 years old. I play volleyball for fun. I love it, and I want to have the opportunity to play collegiate volleyball. I am beginning to learn about the sacrifices that I have to make to play at the collegiate level. I would love to have this opportunity to be a better player, learn more about the game, and get a great education.
I am a 6 rotation setter, who can also hit. For the past 2 years I have been working really hard on my jump setting. I’m a very hard working and coachable player. I play with passion, whether on the court, or on the beach.
I attend Academia Maria Reina, a good academic and sports high school. I am fully bilingual in both english and Spanish. I play volleyball, basketball, beach volleyball and softball during my freshman year. This year, my sophomore year, I am playing volleyball, basketball and beach volleyball. Recently, I was chosen as one of 18 athletes to be part of Puerto Rico's under 18 and 20 national volleyball team.
If I am lucky enough to have this opportunity I would make sure to make the most of it. I am open to all kind of opportunities and I’m going to make sure the college/university I choose is the perfect match for my studies and volleyball. I would love to be a role model to all of the young Puerto Rican girls that aspire to play collegiate volleyball.
