Abby Crowley '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abby Crowley. I am a 2025 setter and have been playing indoor and beach volleyball for five years. I am currently competing on Husky (CT) Volleyball's 16 National club team as a setter and was the starting setter for LaSalle Academy's (RI) varsity team this past High School season. Prior to this season, I was the starting libero for my club team (15-1, South County Juniors, RI) and High School JV team.

I am always looking to further my skills at playing the sport I love and have attended indoor and beach camps across the country. When I am not playing indoor volleyball I am usually playing beach, whether that means training in the offseason or competing in AVP tournaments. Besides this, I enjoy swimming, skiing, surfing, reading, and taking care of my cats, fish, and chickens. 

I am a multi-sport varsity athlete also competing as a mid/distance runner for my high school, Lasalle Academy. In 2022 we won the State Championship for Track & Field and I was a member of the 4x800 relay team who won the Division 1 and Class A qualifying meets.

 When it comes to volleyball, I am determined, work hard, hustle, communicate, have a consistent first and second ball, and love defense. I am a positive and energizing teammate who will always do what is best for the team. I aspire to play college volleyball for an academically selective institution where I can make a positive impact on the team and get a great education.
