Ava Zoppo '25 Recruiting Profile

I am Senior at La Salle Academy in Providence R.I and study hard to achieve a high GPA. The past three years have been some of life's most rewarding and transformative years. I love being part of a great community at La Salle and looking forward to the process of finding a school academically with a degree in Business/Finance while playing Hockey which has given me years of enjoyment. Hockey has helped me learn the value of hard work and has pushed myself without giving up. Any failures I look at it as a chance to get better and learn from the experience.

I have been playing hockey since I was 6 years old and currently on the Lady Devils Tier 1/AAA team and during the High School Season for La Salle Academy. I work with Stop it Goaltending and off-ice train two days weekly specifically focused on getting quicker and stronger which has helped with on ice performance during games. I am very coachable and along the way have had many great mentors who have been positive role models on and off the ice. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without my parents who have been positive and always supporting my efforts academically and with hockey. During my free time I teach learn to skate which has been rewarding making an impact and seeing the progress the kids make during the session.
