I'm a versatile left-handed athlete who played both varsity volleyball and soccer in my Freshman year at AC Flora High School, a 4A program in Columbia, SC. I am 6'2" with my shoes on and probably as tall as I will get. My desire is to play at the next level in a competitive conference, much like my mom who competed at the University of South Carolina for their women's basketball program.
Our household motto is to find a way on to the field or court, thus be coachable and versatile to play whatever position a team needs. I embraced our motto this club season by playing up on our elite 17's team as a right side instead of setting, which I had played a 5-1 the prior two seasons. This shift allowed me to strengthen my blocking abilities as well as develop my swing.
While I enjoyed hitting, I spent July and August training with Shonda Cole Wallace (Gamecock Hall of Fame) to be ready to set for my High School. The training paid off. 2023 Varsity season ended with a Sweet 16 finish in the state tournament and I was honored to earn All-Region for the second time and my first All-State award. I was also included as finalist in the Midlands Player of the Year by The State Newspaper.
I'm excited for the upcoming club season with Armor Volleyball playing 16 open.
Thank you for learning more about my skillset.
