Kennedy Kelly '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard working, 6'2 middle blocker from Frisco, TX and played at Butler Community College this past fall, being named both a Volleyball Magazine and an NJCAA All-American, as well as a First Team All-Conference selection. I led the nation in hitting percentage for the majority of the season above .400 and .443 in conference play and also getting 2.5 kills/set, 1.1 blocks/set, and spent the majority of the season in the top 20 with .57 aces/set. 

I played high school volleyball at Memorial High School (Frisco, TX) and led the team in hitting percentage, blocks, and points, and garnering First Team All District honors. I played club volleyball for Madfrog 18 Black and was an effective quick hitter, hitting .392 for the club season and averaging 1.15 blocks per game. I was on the Tour of Texas leaderboard in hitting percentage (#14),  blocks (#6 ) and points scored (#24). My mom was an All Big 12 Middle Blocker for Kansas State University and I hope to follow in her footsteps. I am a leader who works hard, makes my teammates better, and brings a lot of enthusiasm and fun to the court. 

I work hard in the classroom and was named to the Dean's List for Fall 2022 with a 3.53 semester GPA.

Off the court, I am outgoing with a big personality and love to have fun with my friends and family. I love kids and love helping coach my younger sister's club team and help with clinics when I am in town.
