Sasha Purdin '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I'm Sasha Purdin, a Middle Blocker/Opposite for Untouchables Elite Performance Academy. I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade and I've been all in ever since then. Volleyball is my favorite activity to do, and I look forward to playing every day because teamwork and community are a part of my core values. My favorite parts of the game are that every single player has to work together as a team to achieve victory, and that has allowed me to get very close to the people in the community. That is why I want to keep pursuing it. 

I'm strategic and adaptable on the court, and I also take those qualities to the classroom. I'm always open to learning more on and off the court as I take AP college-level courses and currently have a 3.9 GPA. Post high school, I want to study mechanical engineering and use it after college to serve others pursuing a career in robotics.  

When I'm not on the court, I enjoy serving in the special needs ministry at my church as a buddy to a very energetic and sweet 9-year-old boy whose family attends our church.
