Personal Statement
As I continue to play this game, I begin to realize how much this sport mirrors me and my goals for the future. I love this game beyond the winning or loosing aspect, but having 5 other girls along side me willing to give everything they have into it.
My name is Kaila Harris, and I am a 5'11 primary setter and opposite from Mesquite, Texas. I graduated high school from John Horn High School with the class of 2017, and now playing for Barton Community College in the hopes of continuing my volleyball career. I Finished out my first semester of college with a 3.8 out of 4.0 GPA, and working towards majoring in Physical therapy.
Going to a junior college was the best decision I made for me because it made me realize how much I love playing this game, and how much I want to take it to the next level. What makes me different from many other recruits is that I have the experience and knowledge of this game at a higher level, and will come in prepared knowing I'm representing that school. My goal is to find the best school that sees the best in me, and I'm wanting to go in with the mindset of helping the team grow for the better.
