I am a 5'8" opposite, outside, and middle hitter. I absolutely love the game of volleyball and am blessed to be able to play this sport. Volleyball allows to show my athleticism and ability to make adjustments and corrections. As the youngest of four siblings, I am flexible and adaptable in almost any situation. I have a passion for working with children and helping them in any way possible. I have been involved with athletics all of my life as a gymnast, a softball player, and a swimmer. Volleyball brings out the best in me as an individual player and allows me to contribute to a team. I am very coachable and appreciate constructive corrections which help me consistently improve my game. I am a natural leader and have been the captain of my team for the last 5 years. This club season I joined a team of girls who all played together last year. While I was not elected captain, I lead with no title necessary.  I am great at building relationships and conflict resolution. I have a great sense of humor and my teammates can count on me to lift everyone's spirits when things are tough and we need a reset. I bring the energy to every event! It is important to be positive and lively to motivate myself and my teammates to bring 100% to every practice and every competition. I'm sure I would be a great addition to your college team by bringing my academic success, competitive nature, friendly and compassionate personality, and awesome swings, blocks, and defense on the court, to your program.
