I am 5’7” defensive specialist/ hitter from Northern Virginia graduating in 2016. I have enjoyed and participated in different sports as a youth, however volleyball is my passion. As I have progressed in the sport, I have had the opportunity to play three different positions: libero, DS and outside hitter in high school and with my club teams. Supporting my team, working to create opportunities and strong defense are my focus at any position. Making a difference takes focus and dedication, which means working hard to continue developing and as well training during the off season. As I look ahead to college, I hope to find a college experience that offers an opportunity to get a great education while playing for an outstanding volleyball program. I am currently undecided for my degree choice, so I am looking for a school that offers a wide range of degree options. The commitment and persistence that I work through during school carries its way into my devotion to the sport and my spirited attitude on the court. I certainly know that whatever field I choose, volleyball will always be part of me.
