Marley Newton '27 Recruiting Profile

My goals while in College are to get a degree in Marine Biology or Childhood Education. I have not yet decided on the direction I wish to go. I want to join a volleyball team that supports one another not only on the court but off of the court. I take volleyball very seriously and have been playing for a long time. I enjoy the game because it is fun and it keeps me grounded and focused. Volleyball gets my mind off of other things, so when I am playing I can just play and not worry about anything else. I am a good candidate for the team because I am a team player, I work very hard to keep improving my game, I take it seriously not only at practice but at each game, and I value my teammates very much on and off the court. I stand out from other players primarily from my serves. I tend to get on a good streak when it comes to my aces and serving in general. I also will always go for the ball and I will always set up my teammates for spikes or when they call the ball... no matter what.
