Hello coaches,
My name is Bailey España and I'm from La Center, WA. I'm thinking about the big picture of college and what it will take during my high school years to achieve my goals. I started playing club volleyball when I was 10 years old. My main position is a setter but I'm able to adapt to any position. I'm flexible, energetic, and have been a leader on my teams. I was the only freshman to make my high school's varsity team. During the 2022-23 club season, I accumulated over 1,000 assists, 94 kills, 44 blocks, 234 digs, and 411 serves w/90%+ accuracy (54 aces). During the 2023 high school season, I accumulated 514 assists, 217 digs, 130 kills, 12 blocks, 80 aces and 286 service points.
Spring 2022 (8th grade)-Track & Field, competed in 100m dash, 100m hurdles, and discus, placing 1st in all of those events at multiple meets throughout the season. I qualified for the League Championship and received 'Most Valuable Player' Award at the end of the season.
Besides volleyball, I enjoy the outdoors/hiking, cooking, and babysitting. I'm interested in a criminal justice degree.
