Rebekah Mitchell '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Rebekah Mitchell. I am currently in the 12th grade at Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport West Virginia. I have been playing on various club as well as school teams since about 4th grade. All of my life I have been met with tough challenges. I have been told I don't have a chance and that I will be lucky to make it out of my home state for college. I have also been told that I would be lucky to make it past high school with my favorite sport(volleyball). To that I say Game On! I have aspired to be the best athlete, student, and overall person I can be. No matter what is thrown my way, you can count on me to never give up. I take my academics and the game seriously. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA through my middle and high school careers while pursuing volleyball and marching band.  I also make sure to have fun with what I do as I feel that's important in life. My ultimate goal is to prove the individuals trying to hold me back wrong. I also have the goal to join a collegiate team that will accept me and to excel in learning both on the court and the classroom.
