Jaslynn Dixon '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been watching volleyball since I was three but I started playing volleyball when I was seven years old.  When I started playing for my middle school in the 6th grade, I also started playing competitively for my travel team, Tribe VBC.  I have always loved the sport, but I have aspired to play on the collegiate level for the last 3 years, once I started high school.  

When I am on the court, I am a leader and assist helping my teammates know where they need to be during certain plays.  Since I play libero, I have the best view of the court. I work hard in the off season working with a private coach.  I am coachable and hard working.  I listen well and adjust as I am told.

Off the court, I work hard in the classroom.  I maintain a high GPA.  I assist coaching rec-league volleyball for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders.  I am also a certified Junior Ref and do that as well when not coaching.

I want to attend a college where I can thrive on and off the court.  I am open to all options and want to find the right college match for myself.  I hope to one day be a math teacher and volleyball coach to inspire other young athletes.
