My name is Kaylee Horinek and I am a junior at Wellington high school. I have been wrestling for six years now and am very passionate about my sport. I went to youth state tournament also in wrestling i placed 4th and 2nd. In middle school, 7th grade i fell in love with the sport. I am very dedicated and hard working when it comes to my studies and on the mat. I made it to state my sophomore year and went 2-2. I didn't make it my junior year because of concussions taking me out most of my season and injuring my shoulders. But even in pain I pushed past all my obstacles and finished 2nd in Coffeyville which is a big tournament. This summer I am wrestling every Tuesday and Thursday with Andover wrestling learning freestyle and Greco. And I have a lot of camps lined up so I can improve on my shooting skills, throwing, take downs, to becoming a better wrestler for my senior year. I am an amazing leader and I keep everythig that doesent consist in wrestling away from the mat. But besides wrestling I also do public speech competitions also, known as forensics. I’m also very dedicated to my sport but while I'm dedicated to my sport I also am dedicated to my plan to double major in criminal justice and psychology.
