Anastasia Curitti '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Anastasia Curitti. Academically, my college goals are to major in kinesiology/exercise physiology and become a sports medicine physician. Competing at the college level would allow me to take my skills, passion, and career to the next level. It would allow me to embrace and carry on my love for wrestling. Competing individually means seeing how far I can push myself and what I can accomplish on my own, but that does not mean I do not love being a part of a team. The overall team aspect of a sport like wrestling is an incredible community to be a part of. I love being able to compete on my own but still be a part of a supportive, competitive, and reliable team that can grow to be more than just my teammates but become my friends and family. As a person, I am disciplined, hard-working, loyal, caring, determined, devoted, focused, and loving. These personality traits are applied to me in general, athletics, and academically. I put great effort into whatever challenge comes my way and care about the outcomes. My work ethic also translates into all areas of my life; I work hard to chase after the goals and standards I set for myself. I always see something through to the end and put in my total effort. I do not just do this because it seems to be what others expect; I do it for myself because I know I have what it takes to push myself to achieve more continuously. This being said, I know when it is essential to rest and take time to care for my mind and body. I know these traits, work ethic, and goals are what can make me an excellent candidate to compete at the next level and do well in my academics.
