Silas Sheranko '26 Recruiting Profile

For one I love wrestling and I started in 8th grade and quickly became the captain and continued to keep the varsity captain spot throughout my freshman and sophomore season. I'm looking for a team with high energy and drive to match my work ethic. Some things about me is my passion for the sport, I'm always raring to go and I love hard work on and off the mat. my teammates and coaches will say that I'm full of energy and highly committed to my team. One thing that sets me apart is I am a people person and work very well with others such as with teammates and being coachable, player and coach bonding is very important to me because I believe that having a good relationship with your coach and players brings up not only the morale and drive/motivation of one athlete but the team as a whole. Im looking for a team of highly ambitious peers who have similar goals as me. Some of my collegiate goals are to not just wrestle but be competitive nationally, and leave something for future athletes to look up to.
