My passion for wrestling ignited quickly. My first experience in the wrestling room - being thrown around by future teammates, my confidence tested, and my definition of "hard work" redefined - was unlike anything I'd ever known. The challenges on the mat made everything else seem easier. I'm grateful for this sport and the wrestling family I've gained. The hard work and stress wrestling demands are indescribable. This dedication extends to my academics, where balancing intense training with challenging coursework has honed my time management and organizational skills. I've learned to prioritize and utilize every moment, often studying between practices or late into the night. This has strengthened both my academic performance and the discipline crucial for wrestling success. 

Wrestling in college brings me closer to my dream of maximizing my potential, both athletically and academically. I dedicate myself daily, but I know others do too. My defining trait is my relentless pursuit of knowledge, on and off the mat. Even in bed, I'm often studying NCAA matches. I pride myself on constantly deepening my understanding of the sport, a drive that also fuels my academic pursuits. I'm eager to embrace the academic rigors of college while competing at a high level.
