For as long as I can remember, I have played at least one sport at each point in my life. I’ve played almost every sport you could think of over the years, but none of them ever really clicked. My parents would have to drag me to practice and force me to stay in proper shape for my sports until I found wrestling.
I began wrestling in the eighth grade, and I’ve wrestled ever since. Once I began wrestling, everything changed, and I wanted to learn more and get stronger and faster than I was before. I finally understood the desire my coaches and parents were trying to instill in me to work to be the best at everything I attempt, from wrestling to lifting weights to the classes I take.
The discipline I have learned in wrestling from my coaches has assisted me as team Co-Captain and achieving my goal of placing at the state tournament and will assist me in achieving my goal of going undefeated and State Champion in 2020
I am more focused than ever to continue wrestling in college and putting in the work to achieve my goals of earning a degree in Management with possibly pursuing medical school in the future.
I understand this journey to wrestle in college and pursue this occupation will not be easy, but I am fully committed. I will not back down from this challenge and have already started achieving my goals by passing my first two AP tests and completing eight dual credit courses.
I hope to hear from you to discuss your program and how I may fit as a successful student athlete with your school. Thank you for your time and consideration.
