Jaeden Dumlao-Ranis '22 Recruiting Profile

I started my wrestling  journey at the age of 4. My father, uncles, and cousins are all former high school and some college wrestlers who Ive looked up to. Most of who has returned home to train and coach the new generation.  From then on I have challenged myself to be as great as they were. With such high expectations from the family to be the best I hated it, but I grew to love it and knew it is the right path for me.  I believe it has been about 12 years since  pursuing  this journey and as a junior I am even hungrier than ever to reach my goals physically and  mentally. I will be standing on that podium senior year with my name announced during the  Hawaii State Championship representing my dedication To my training and school. I suffered an injury this past year and missed a lot of opportunities on top of the pandemic closures. I had a dislocated elbow in a round robin meet before the MIL and state championship, which ended my season. Now I’m coming back hungrier and stronger than ever.
