I am a leader for multiple reasons. I am always looking for the positives of even the worst situation, the Army taught me that. This past year I joined the United States Army and graduated the at top of my Platoon for leadership and fitness. Every year of my High School Wrestling Career I have chased state champions knowing that they are better wrestlers than me. I did this because it made me a better wrestler. My junior year I was injured warming up for a tournament. Despite my pain I wrestled on and won the tournament. The next few days the pain got worst so I went to the hospital and found I had a punctured lung. They wouldn't let me wrestle the next few weeks and I barely made it back in time for districts and state. Since I missed weeks of wrestling I had to train extra hard to make weight and compete. I love work hard and seeing my personal progression along with the progression of others around me.
