I am a quick, gritty, hard-working, 120 lb varsity wrestler at Glenbard West High School. This year I had my 100th varsity win and my junior record was 43-5 capping it off with 5th place at The 3A IHSA State Tournament.
Freshman and sophomore year, I was the 106 lb varsity starter. I currently hold the Glenbard West record for number of wins at that weight and the record for most takedowns. I placed in the top 8 at the IHSA 3A division State Championship series as a sophomore. During the offseason, I continue to work hard to improve my skills and aspire to reach my goal of a state championship. I currently have a 4.71/5.00 GPA with 1 honors class and 1 AP class.
I am looking for an academically competitive institution where I can apply what I have learned in wrestling about setting goals, hard work and discipline to continued success in academics and life. I would like to be part of a team where I can contribute to making the team better. Whether that means starting at the 125 lb (or higher) weight, or just bringing a positive, winning attitude and work ethic to the practice room, I am looking for a coach that can help me achieve my potential as a wrestler and a person. I do not require financial aid just an opportunity to make a positive impact on a team.
