I was born & raised to play football at a very young age and never really got into basketball. So when I was in 7th grade, winter was a very boring time for me. The middle school coach approached me about going out for wrestling. So I decided to try it. I immediately fell in love! In two years I was awarded the MVP of my league. When I got to the High School level, I found out I had a lot to learn, and I needed more than strength and physical ability to go very far. So I worked hard to develop my wrestling skills. I improved every year by leaps and bounds. I started going to every off-season tournament I could, and every open mat I could. I became an advocate to save Olympic wrestling, because it is my dream to one day wrestle in the Olympics! I am very passionate about wrestling. It is my life.
