I have worked very hard over the last 10 years to be the best student/athlete I can be. I've set many goals over the years and have worked very hard to reach them. Winning a state championship was my ultimate athletic goal. Winning it has motivated me even more to wrestle in college and continue my education.
I fully understand the value of a quality education. I have earned 3 Academic All-Ohio awards and carry a 4.1 GPA. I am enrolled in AP classes as well as our Biomedical Engineering program. I want to use the time and effort I've put into the sport of wresting to further both my education and athletic career.
My parents have always stressed balance in my life. I have tried to be the best student, athlete, teammate, friend, brother and son as I can possibly be. I think this is what might separate me from the average recruit.
