"Ability is what you are capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it."
- Lou Holtz
I live by this quote day in and day out. I do my best to strive to be great and I give hope to my teammates that they can do the same. I'm pretty much a coach when I'm out wrestling, I help my team learn new moves they never seen before. When they fail or mess up, I bring them back up, give them motivation that they are nothing and that they can be great if they keep training.
I've always dream of being a collegiate athlete. I set my goals low then gradually increase them because it helps boost my confidence and it motivates me to do better each time I step out onto the mat. I make fairly decent grades. I'm not the top of my class but I challenge myself in school. I take hard classes in school including Ap and honors classes.
I have been through a lot of tragedy in my life. Abused when I was young, moved from place to place, placed in foster care and still could not maintain a stable home. I lost my girlfriend and best friend to cancer within a year. With of all that I still never gave up. I fought my way through that and still have a very compassionate heart. I care for my friends, family, and wrestling family.
